1st Domains is a hosting company based in the UK. I designed the website for them and support them with PHP scripts they are writing. This website is XHTL1.1 and CSS compliant. The website has a very clean and professional look to it while not being bland which helps to promote the company as being good and effeciant. A badly designed website reflects badly on the company.

Walderslade Online
Walderslade Online is a community website for the Walderslade area in the UK. My role in this website was to redesign and maintain it with help from the original creator of the site and a community Policeman. This site is always growing and is constantly in need of updating. It uses XHTML and CSS to help give it a professional look while keeping it within the standards recommendations to help keep the website accessible to everyone.

Carroll Water Services
Carroll water services are a company based in the south east of the UK and wanted their products to be displayed online. This website consists of static web pages as not much updating will need to be done and also has a contact form which emails directly to the company.

Greenacre School
I helped create and maintain the original website for Greenacre School, the website was changed while i was at university but now I am back and in charge of the website. The website uses CSS and XHTML which dropdown menus. The website contains homework that has been set which is stored in a database and updated daily, newsletters get uploaded and stored in a directory which the webpage finds.

Harmony Variety Group
Harmony Variety Group is a local voluntary based variety group. As well as one of the technicians here i also created and maintain the website. The website has a calendar so people can find out our upcoming shows and some of our more recent past shows. The next show is also displayed on the home page. This website is work in progress and is due to have a photo gallery added soon. This website has a content management system so it's not only me that can update the website. This website has a PHP and MySQL backend to help create a dynamic website with XHTML and CSS supporting the front end.

Blackheath School Intranet
At Blackheath High School I developed the Intranet site and had input towards the website. The Intranet had a content management system that allowed departments to add documents, links, photos and pages so pupils had a point of reference. The Intranet also shows the school lunch menus which were written in Word but then the PHP took the document, read it and organised it on the page. I also developed a desktop webpage that allowed one xml file to be updated and show a message on each desktop.

Gamer Online
This website was created as a project for university. This website has a full content management system that allows to easy administrating the site news, moderate maps which have been uploaded and change user permissions. I also created the forum which has an administration section which allows for the easy addition and deletion of categories, forums, topics and replies. There is a game stats system which can been updated and viewed and ordered by any of the columns.

Providence Books
This website was created for a book sales company which wanted to move online some of its business online. The website contains an admin section which allows the owner to upload and delete books and sort them into categories. There is a system which only allows for 10 books to be displayed on each page to stop the pages from going on and on. Only the first few hundred words of the book description are shown to help stop the page going on for too long and the user clicks on the book to get the price and more details about the book.

Games Review
This website was another project carried out for university. The website allows for any visitor to add a game review along with an image of the game. There is also an admin section which allows for the administration of site news and moderating the reviews that have been posted by players. There is a contact form which emails the administrator directly to save people needing to open a email client. All the information is stored in a MySQL database to allow for sorting when the information is displayed on the page such as, by time for the news and into alphabetical order on the reviews.

Darkchat Community
This is my main website which is constantly under development as I use it for testing and improving my skills. With a keen interest in online communities this was to be the base topic. The website has gone under many different designs each getting more complicated. Currently the website is between two layouts but I am hoping to change this soon. The main features on this site are the forum and photo gallery.

ICT Help Desk
This project is used in some schools across the UK. The original version worked with ASP and an access database but works with PHP and MySQL. This currently allows network uses to log on and request equipment and ask for assistance with any problems that occur with the school network. The administrator can view them all, mark them off when compelted while other users can only view their own. The original poster and administrator can add notes to keep each other updated on progress. This system is desinged to help system administrators keep a log of all problems that occur on the system they maintain.
